I am always drawn to narrow streets — spaces where light has to find its way in. Here, a sharp diagonal shadow transforms a simple wall into a living surface. At the end of the passage, a cyclist passes for just a second — movement within stillness.
For me, this image is about contrast: confinement and openness, shadow and light, permanence and fleeting presence.
